With the Morpheus Labs BPaaS commercial version slated to be released in a few months, our business development activities will start to ramp up in accordance to a go-to-market plan. This article is intended to provide more details on our business model.

1. Who are distributors?

Our go-to-market strategy is primarily based on channel sales partners who are currently working with a sizeable client base (our potential clients) and have outstanding past experience in software / SaaS business. We have identified these partners as a catalyst to scale up the Morpheus Labs ecosystem.

2. What do distributors do?

There are three categories of distributors:

  • Trial Distributor (trial period only, least amount of security deposit required, no minimum purchase of license required)
  • Country Distributor (low amount of security deposit, bulk purchase of licenses at discounted rate, possibility of licenses to be resold to trial level distributors)
  • Regional Distributor (high amount of security deposit needed, bulk purchase of licenses at higher discounted rate, licenses can be resold to country and trial level distributors).

*During the initial stage, a few channel partners will be selected for a fully-discounted (no-fee) distributorship subject to screening by the team.

3. How to become a distributor?

With most distributorships, a security deposit is required for the eligibility of license sale. This security deposit is a certain amount of MITx tokens that distributor needs to purchase and hold during the entire time of the distributorship period (staking). Different tiers require different amount of MITx token staking.

After a security deposit is received, distributors will be officially accepted as a distributor of Morpheus Labs BPaaS licenses.

4. Distributors will receive training, comprehensive documentation and sales materials such as:

  • User Guides
  • Platform Brochure
  • Datasheets
  • Presentations
  • Platform Intro (sales pitch presentation, customisable by distributors).
  • App Library Presentation (eg. of specific presentation)
  • Subscription Data Presentation (eg. enterprise subscription vs advanced)
  • Competition Analysis
  • Distributor Price Book

Further support for distributors include:

  • Joint training with blockchain partners
  • Dedicated account manager to serve and joint sales
  • Referral Sales channel back to distributors
  • Joint marketing initiatives
  • Sponsorship of Events/exhibition planning (once a year)
  • Shared marketing event booths
  • Marketing Material

5. Proof Of Alliance (PoA) Extension

Benefits of Our PoA members will be enhanced here. PoA members will help to facilitate possible transactions and potentially be a critical part of the ecosystem. The final mechanics of how this will work is currently being worked out.
