Morpheus.Network Joins The Enterprise Ethereum Alliance (EEA)
The Morpheus.Network, the full-service, global, automated supply chain system with integrated cryptocurrency payments, today announced that it has joined the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance (EEA), the world’s largest open source blockchain initiative.
We are super pleased to be welcomed into the alliance! As a member of the EEA, the Morpheus.Network will collaborate with industry leaders in pursuit of ethereum-based enterprise technology best practices, open standards, and open-source reference architectures. The automated supply chain system will solve inefficiencies that hinder global trade: from the $2 trillion dollars lost in bank fees and conversion rates in the past year; to unsecure contract agreements and documentations that prevent the growth of businesses and the industry as a whole.
“We are excited to join EEA,” said Danny Weinberger, CEO of Morpheus.Network. “The EEA offers the Morpheus.Network the resources needed to learn about Ethereum and leverage this groundbreaking technology to address specific, enterprise-based industry use cases.”
With more than 400 member companies, the EEA membership base represents a wide variety of business sectors from every region of the world, including technology, banking, government, healthcare, energy, pharmaceuticals, marketing, and insurance. The EEA’s industry-focused, member-driven working groups are each tasked with creating and delivering specific advancements to the development and use of ethereum-based technologies.
About The Enterprise Ethereum Alliance
The EEA is an industry-supported, not-for-profit established to build, promote, and broadly support Ethereum-based technology best practices, open standards, and open-source reference architectures. The EEA is helping to evolve Ethereum into an enterprise-grade technology, providing research and development in a range of areas, including privacy, confidentiality, scalability, and security. The EEA is also investigating hybrid architectures that span both permissioned and public Ethereum networks as well as industry-specific application layer working groups.
EEA will collectively develop open industry standards and facilitate collaboration with its member base and is open to any members of the Ethereum community who wish to participate. This open-source framework will enable the mass adoption at a depth and breadth otherwise unachievable in individual corporate silos and provide insight into the future of scalability, privacy, and confidentiality of the public Ethereum permissionless network. The Morpheus Network was designed in consultation with some of the world’s largest shipping, customs & banking firms to create a full-service, global, automated, supply chain platform with an integrated cryptocurrency payment system utilizing blockchain technology.
