This past week, the whole Mossio team traveled out to Tampa, Florida to celebrate the opening of our first brick and mortar headquarters and to simply have a little fun together. It’s always exciting to see a group of folks you feel are a tight knit band of pals grow overnight to an irreplaceable group of family members.

We broke bread, enjoyed some drinks, and got to let loose and have some fun on the range at Top Golf as well as on the courts of the ping pong table. On behalf of the entire team, I’d like to thank Corey Haggard and Jerett for being such great hosts, mentors, employers, and such incredible friends to us all. We can’t wait to all hang out at Creative South in April again!

I asked each person on the team to share a quick thought or favorite memory about the trip below.

Be sure to check out the end of the post to see a ton of pics from the trip!

Working remotely with a team of talented people rewarding in different ways. After working closely with the team through video chat for months, visiting the new Mossio HQ in Florida was a great opportunity to meet everyone in person. It was fun to get to hang out and spend some quality time. If you ever find yourself around Tampa area, be sure to visit the new space.

My favorite memory from the Mossio Retreat was all of it :D. The people are amazing, the food was amazing, and the hospitality was the best. I can’t wait to do it again!

It was great finally meeting and getting to know the team face-to-face on a personal level. We all acted as if we’ve known each other for many years and we’re just simply hanging out. Looking forward to many more awesome retreats!

It meant so much to finally meet the team and get a chance to connect! Everyone at Mossio is ridiculously talented and all-around a kind and funny human being. I felt the camaraderie we shared on our retreat was amazing, like being with family. Here’s to more ping pong, great laughs, awesome food, collaborative design, and an amazingly supportive team!

For me — the fellowship with our team was invaluable. The memories made from the antics this crew can produce made every moment full of laughs — stuff that keeps on making us smile. Seeing the way we work as a team was awesome as well — and then there was the food lol! There is just something amazing about huggin’ necks and breakin’ bread.

Jerett Patterson

I really enjoyed seeing everyone come together and really gel as a team. In many ways it felt more like a family reunion than a company retreat.

Corey Haggard

The chemistry behind our team really is great. It’s more like family than anything else. Working along side these folks is a reward that I hold in a very high regard. Spending time with my team is invaluable, and I look forward to seeing everyone more often.

This was a great trip to bond the whole team together. I’ve been lucky to know almost half of this team for the better part of 3–6 years, either working with them in the past or seeing them every year at conferences. To hang out with all the new friends and team members and watch everyone instantly mesh together as a family warms my heart. I’m honored and proud to be part of this team and truly blessed to do it alongside such quality individuals.

We’re Hiring!
