[Desktop] Preparing for Wrapped MOC (WMOC) Swap [2]
Before the swap [Adding Luniverse Network / Charging LUK]
Following the guide on creating a Metamask wallet, this time we will also connect the Luniverse network to Metamask and learn how to charge LUK for transactions.
It’s not difficult, so this is the second preparatory step before the swap! Follow along slowly

1. Adding the Luniverse Network
1) Click on the top left corner of Metamask.
2) Click the “Add Network” button in the popup.
3) Click on “Add a network manually.”
4) Enter the following information as indicated in the table below
- Network Name: Luniverse Mainnet
- New RPC URL: https://main-rpc.the-balance.io:18545
- Chain ID: 256
- Currency Symbol: LUK
- Block Explorer URL: https://scan.luniverse.io
5) Verify the results.
2. Charging LUK
❓ Why do we need to charge LUK?
=> During the MOC swapping process, LUK tokens are used as gas fees on the Luniverse mainnet.
You can charge LUK for free through the following link: https://bridge.luniverse.io/faucet
Please charge LUK to the wallet you will use for the swap before proceeding.
1) Click on the https://bridge.luniverse.io/faucet link and navigate to The Balance (Mainnet) Faucet page. Click on the “Connect Wallet” button in the top right corner or the “Connect Wallet” button in the middle of the screen.
2) Click on the MetaMask icon at the top of the popup.
3) In the MetaMask popup, select the wallet you want to charge LUK to (the wallet that will be used for MOC swapping) and click “Next.”
4) Click the “Connect” button.
5) The MetaMask popup will close, and on the original browser page, check the “I am not a robot” box and click “Charge LUK.”
6) After confirming the charging result, click the “OK” button.
7) You can also verify the charged LUK in your MetaMask wallet.
