🖐 Mossland’s Hackathon 🖐
Mossland hosted the first ‘Blockchain Game Jam Seoul’ in 2018, receiving significant attention and support from blockchain developers.
In 2022, the ‘Metaverse Hackathon Open’ generated quite a buzz. Participants utilized Mossland’s metaverse platform to present new creative ideas in the virtual world.
Additionally, Mossland sponsors university blockchain hackathons to support future blockchain developers. Since 2018, we have annually sponsored hackathon events for students, spreading awareness about the potential of blockchain technology among the younger generation.
Through various hackathons, Mossland supports creative ideas and developer passion, contributing to the growth of the blockchain ecosystem.
This hackathon will be conducted with three main themes.
Each team is required to participate in planning, design, and development. Evaluation scores will be distributed as follows: Planning (10%), Design (45%), and Development (45%).
1️⃣ Hackathon Planning Hackathon
This hackathon prioritizes 🔸fun and creativity🔸
Freely propose various ideas for planning and evolve them into feasible projects. Any topic is welcome, and your passion and imagination are crucial.
2️⃣ Hackathon for Designers
This hackathon focuses on 🔸creative design🔸
Regardless of the field — characters, buildings, metaverse, and more — choose from diverse design topics. Surprise other participants with your original ideas!
3️⃣ Hackathon for Developers
This hackathon is dedicated to 🔸developers🔸.
Develop games, community forums, or various web/app services. Submit projects that showcase technical originality and challenge.

Through evaluation, outstanding projects will be selected and provided with the following prizes and benefits.

Furthermore, outstanding projects submitted for each theme will offer participants job opportunities and networking chances.

🔹 Exceptional award-winning projects for each theme may have the potential to proceed as follow-up projects.
🔹 Hackathon accepts individual or team participation, and each team can consist of up to four members.
🔹 Outputs generated from the hackathon will be licensed under the MIT license. The MIT license allows free use, modification, replication, and distribution of the outputs, fostering an environment for collaboration with the open-source community.
Open-source licensed projects can be utilized and shared by a broader audience, facilitating collaboration within the open-source community.

Implement a website displayed in the metaverse using iframe format.
🔺 Web Games and MMOC Services:
Develop web-based games or MMOC services to establish diverse web services utilizing assets.
Developers of both web front-end and back-end are encouraged to participate.
🔺 Utilization of MOC and WMOC Based on Web3 Services:
Develop Web3 services utilizing MOC and WMOC, integrating them into the metaverse or offering them as standalone services. Collaboration with web front-end, back-end, and mobile developers is expected from individuals with Web3 development experience.
🔺 Other Ideas Based on MOC and WMOC: Developers with various ideas related to MOC, WMOC, and the Mossland metaverse are welcome to participate. Exercise your creativity to conceive exciting projects!
2. Examples for Designers:
🔺 Metaverse Design: Conceptualize and create designs for the terrain, characters, buildings, and more in the Mossland metaverse. Designers adept in pixel art or 2D design, capable of applying various concepts to the metaverse, are eagerly awaited.
🔺 Collaboration on Web and Mobile UI Design: Collaborate with developers to produce high-quality web and mobile UI designs. Designers who can enhance projects through creative and user-friendly designs are anticipated to join.
3. Examples for Developer-Designers (Dev + Design) and Planners:
🔺 Planning the Hackathon Themes and Scope: Plan the themes and specific scope for the next hackathon. We welcome participants who can directly plan the 2nd Hackathon with various themes such as developer hackathons and designer hackathons.
