Hello!

The Mossland team would like to provide guidance to Mossland users.

In 2018, MossCoin was issued as an Ethereum-based (ERC-20) token, and in May 2020, it completed a swap to the Luniverse network (LMT). The MossCoin currently traded on Upbit and Bithumb exchanges is based on the Luniverse network.

Information regarding the swap in May 2020 was communicated through email and exchange announcements. Many users completed the swap automatically through exchange wallets. However, for those who have not yet completed the swap, we offer a manual swap service.

📀 Types of MossCoin Networks

1. (Former) MossCoin

  • An ERC-20 token based on Ethereum, used from 2018 to May 2020.
  • It is currently an inactive token.

2. (Current) MossCoin

  • A token based on the Luniverse network, known as LMT, has been in use since May 2020 to the present
  • All currently circulating tokens are MossCoin based on the Luniverse network.

3. Wrapped Moscoin (Wrapped MOC, WMOC)

  • An ERC-20 token based on Ethereum, in use from August 2023 to the present.
  • Wrapped MossCoin (WMOC) was issued for the purpose of a 1:1 exchange with MossCoin based on the Luniverse network.
  • Wrapped MossCoin extends the usability of MossCoin to the Ethereum network, providing liquidity between the two networks. This enables the utilization of MossCoin in various smart contracts and services within the Ethereum ecosystem.

🚀 Check Network Information

If users wish to proceed with the swap from the old MossCoin based on Ethereum to the current MossCoin based on the Luniverse network, they need to verify information about their existing MossCoin holdings.
Please follow the steps below to confirm the network.

  1. Select the Ethereum network in MetaMask and click on MOC.
  2. Click on the ‘⋮’ (three dots) at the top of the screen.
  3. Choose “Token details.”
  4. Verify the token contract address.
If the address is ‘0x865…E68,’ you are holding the old MossCoin based on Ethereum.
    (Contract Address: 0x865ec58b06bf6305b886793aa20a2da31d034e68)

🔑 Guidelines for MossCoin Network Transition

  • Holders of the old MossCoin need to undergo the process of transitioning (swapping) to the current MossCoin.
  • The swap for MossCoin is manually conducted, and you need to contact the Mossland team via email for assistance.
  • After confirming the network for MossCoin, if you are a holder of the old MossCoin and wish to proceed with the conversion, please fill out the following information and inquire via email.
    1. (Old) MOC Quantity
    2. Transfer Address

🚨 Caution

  • DO NOT deposit the old MossCoin directly to exchanges.
  • There is a high risk of token loss due to network incompatibility, and recovery may be impossible.
  • If you stored MossCoin privately in a wallet (such as MetaMask) between 2018 and May 2020 and still hold it, it is likely the old MossCoin.
  • Please verify the MossCoin’s sending address and information accurately.
  • Information regarding MossCoin will be provided through email. Do not trust unannounced swap procedures or links through other channels.
  • During the swap process, avoid disclosing personal information to others.

After verification, the Mossland team will provide instructions for the swap process.

Due to the technical nature of blockchain, losses incurred from network mismatches and incorrect transfers are irreparable.

Please communicate closely with the Mossland team throughout the process. Exercise extreme caution, and follow the instructions provided via email diligently for your safety and successful swap.

👛 Network Transfer Fees

  • Ethereum Network

During the process of swapping (Old) MOC, gas fees for the Ethereum network are required. Gas fees are in Ethereum and can be checked for the necessary transfer gas fee at the following link.
The speed of the transfer may vary depending on the gas fee.

  • Luniverse Network

To transfer the received (Current) MOC to exchanges or other platforms on the Luniverse network, gas fees (LUK) are required. You can charge them for free by following the guide below.

When transferring Luniverse MOC, please ensure that you enter a gas limit of 60,000 or higher in the designated input field to facilitate a smooth transfer.

For those holders of the old MossCoin who have confirmed the above information and wish to proceed with the conversion, please inquire through the provided email.

Additionally, we recommend MossCoin holders regularly check official channels such as the Mossland official website and Mossland disclosure site for the safety of their assets.

Mossland will always do its best to ensure that MossCoin holders do not experience any inconvenience.

Thank you.
