Introducing the Mossland DAO governance framework ‘Agora’.
Hello everyone Mossland!
Just as the cold winter gives way to warm spring,
Mossland is embarking on a new project.
In our previous post, we briefly introduced it,
and it’s none other than the Mossland governance platform Project Agora.
Through this post, we aim to introduce what Project Agora is and what features it includes.

✨ Introduction to ‘Project Agora’
Project Agora is the core of Mossland DAO governance and a decentralized governance framework.
Going beyond the traditional method of proposing and voting on agenda items within the Mossland metaverse, Agora is a platform that enables community members to engage in discussions and collaboration to determine the future of Mossland. It integrates a voting system and on-chain transactions in a community-driven format where proposed ideas are debated and collaborated upon.
Agora is designed to actively involve all Mossland community members in decision-making processes, aiming to progress based on the core values of openness, collaboration, and innovation within the Mossland ecosystem.

- Transparent Voting System (Vote):
Agora prioritizes all votes, and its voting mechanism ensures that decisions made by Mossland community members are transparent and fair. - Governance and Proposal Process (Proposal):
Agora simplifies the proposal process to enable members to easily suggest ideas. - Community-Centric Approach (Forum):
Agora serves not only as a governance tool but also as a platform for member discussions and collaboration. Community members can participate in DAO processes and contribute opinions to shape the future of Mossland.
🧬The role of the Agora project in terms of Mossland milestones
In Mossland, the Agora project plays a crucial role.
Agora enhances transparency and efficiency in the project’s development process by advancing decentralized governance frameworks.
Additionally, it plays an important role in achieving key milestones in Mossland, such as broadening the usage scope of Mosscoin by activating open-source participation.
🚀 Current Progress
The project has achieved Milestone #1’s objectives, and is currently focusing on developing the actual service based on the Product Requirements Documents (PRD) and designs produced as a result.
The Product Requirements Document (PRD) for Milestone #1 includes the following features
- Membership and Access Management:
Agora manages community members’ memberships and access permissions, enabling access to various features of Mossland. - Proposal and Voting System:
Agora implements a simplified proposal and voting system, allowing community members to easily and freely propose opinions and participate in voting. - Integration with Mossland Metaverse:
Agora integrates with the Mossland metaverse to function seamlessly within it, integrating with existing voting mechanisms. - Forum:
Agora provides a forum for exchanging opinions and discussions among community members, where they can freely share opinions and collaborate.
📑 Agora Milestone #1 (2024/1/16~2024/2/20)
Through Milestone #1, the groundwork necessary to initiate Project Agora has been established. Milestone #2 will focus on the development and QA for the actual service launch.

- Including all user interface elements, ensuring smooth and intuitive representation.
3. Establishing Research and Development Strategies:
- Analyzing existing solutions and best practices in similar domains to aid in designing and making functional decisions that align with industry standards and user expectations.
- Planning brainstorming sessions and product testing to gather user feedback and ensure continuous improvement.
