🌞 Happy New Year of 2024. Have you all welcomed the new year with new goals?
There’s often a lot of regret left behind with everything that’s passed, and personally, I feel I couldn’t accomplish all that I had planned, leaving some regret.
May 2024 be a year where none of you are left with regrets.

In this post, I’d like to delve into the roadmap milestones achieved by the Mossland team in 2023 and discuss our plans for 2024.

📌 Progress on the 2023 Roadmap.

1. Decentralized Governance Framework: Development of Voting System

• Mossland has expanded fair participation opportunities for Mosscoin holders in the project by establishing a decentralized governance framework. This includes disclosing detailed aspects of fund status, development progress, and gathering feedback from holders, allowing decisions on direction through voting.
• During the first half of the year, the DAO voting system was established, marking the initiation of governance operations. Simultaneously, Mossland implemented a disclosure system, providing transparency and detailed information to holders.
• In the latter half of the year, a discussion feature for DAO voting was added, facilitating holders to share opinions and discuss project directions among themselves. Furthermore, to further activate decentralized governance, marketing and PR programs were executed, drawing increased participation from the community.

2. Mossland Metaverse: Development of Advertising Platform

• We’ve established an advertising bidding system within the metaverse. This has enabled various advertising opportunities within the metaverse and ensured transparency within the bidding system, thus activating the virtual economy within the metaverse. Additionally, we’ve provided opportunities for Mosscoin utilization within the metaverse, securing new use cases.
• During the first half of the year, we successfully implemented the virtual billboard advertising bidding system within the metaverse, establishing the foundation for advertising placement. This played a crucial role in expanding the potential utility areas for Mosscoin.
• In the latter half of the year, we conducted global marketing and PR campaigns to promote the Open Source Developer Support Program, supporting the advancement of the open-source ecosystem.
• Moreover, we continued to explore and propose partnerships both domestically and internationally. Through collaborations with participants in open-source projects, our aim was to further expand the potential utility of Mosscoin.”

3. Mossland Disclosure System Update

• Mossland launched and consistently updated its disclosure system, focusing on enhancing project transparency. This effort aimed to provide Mosscoin holders with real-time information and transparent statistics regarding the open-source development progress, ensuring fair participation opportunities.
• In the first quarter, we launched a website disclosing real-time circulation, distribution plans of Mosscoin, foundation wallet information, and documents related to Mossland projects. This allowed holders to access key project information in real-time.
• In the second quarter, updates were made to include real-time transactions of Mosscoin, market data, and activation statistics of the open-source community. Providing continuous information on community activities and Mosscoin transactions aimed to instill trust among holders regarding the project.

📌 Plans for the 2024 Roadmap

1. Development of Mosscoin Swap Feature (Early Implementation)

• The implementation of the Mosscoin swap feature, initially scheduled for 2024, was expedited. Now, it allows real-time swapping of Mosscoin between the Ethereum network and the Luniverse network.
• The purpose behind the swap feature was to expand Mosscoin onto the Ethereum network, aiming to stimulate increased trading activity and elevate the transaction levels of Mosscoin through this functionality.
  This signifies that more users can freely trade Mosscoin across various network environments, anticipating a positive impact on fostering a more diverse trading volume and an active ecosystem

2. Decentralized Governance Framework

• In 2024, we are planning to enhance the decentralized governance framework.
• We plan to update the on-chain voting system in the first half of the year and improve the efficiency of the voting system by integrating it with on-chain transactions. Through this, our aim is to establish transparent, secure, swift, and efficient governance operations.
• In the latter half of the year, we plan to implement a forum site for agenda discussions and a task management system. These systems will facilitate smooth exchange of opinions and discussions among community members, enhancing project management and operational efficiency.

3. Mossland Metaverse

• In 2024, we plan to strengthen global marketing and promotions for Mossland Metaverse to expand our activities within the metaverse.
• Furthermore, we aim to further activate the open-source community within the metaverse. Through the Mosscoin reward program, we intend to incentivize developers contributing to open-source projects by rewarding them with Mosscoin, encouraging community participation.
• We anticipate securing various services within the metaverse through this, intending to offer users diverse experiences and options. This initiative aims to expand Mosscoin’s utility by promoting open-source participation.

4. Disclosure System Update

• In 2024, we plan to continuously update real-time information and statistics within the Mossland decentralized governance framework. Our aim is to maintain transparency regarding governance activities, fostering ongoing participation and trust among holders.

✨ In 2024, Mossland will continue its efforts toward advancing the Web3-based metaverse platform. Primarily, we aim to maintain and enhance the platform offering NFT transactions and Mosscoin utility, integrating past achievements. Additionally, we plan to provide an open-source SDK to encourage developer participation and foster platform growth through continuous updates.

Mossland leverages lessons learned from past project discontinuations and failures to contribute to the blockchain developer ecosystem by openly sharing all work as open-source. This is a crucial element in enhancing Mossland’s sustainability.

Over the past five years, Mossland has strived to prove its technical value by successfully launching more than 12 blockchain-related services.

The primary goal ahead is to strengthen autonomy and sustainability through project decentralization. We aim to significantly enhance our service development capabilities by collaborating with the open-source community. This will enable us to prepare for the future in the blockchain technology and metaverse domains, striving for innovative advancements.
