1. Pop It Cake
Ukrainian artist Dinara Kasko continues to push the boundaries of pastry design. The pastry chef and culinary artist has amassed a huge online following for her innovative cake designs and moulds. Although Dinara graduated from Kharkov University Architecture School, she found her true passion was pastry after studying in Ukraine.
2. Genesis Belanger’s Blow Out
Genesis Belanger an American surrealist artist and has returned with a new solo exhibition titled Blow Out, where she transforms each room into a surrealist theatre, filled with mixed-media sculptures that narrate a metaphorical story of high-living heartbreak.
3. Femme Type
FEMME TYPE is a platform under the umbrella of creative media company TYPE01 Ltd, created with a purpose of celebrating the work of type designers and type-focused creatives who are women.
4. Veriff
Veriff, an industry leader in online identity verification, announces a new brand identity. The company’s new look reflects the company’s next level of growth within the ever-evolving security and identity fraud landscape. Veriff’s brand upgrade includes a new and refined logo, color palette, patterns and aligned illustration system.
5. Anna Mills Moving Type
Bristol-based graphic designer Anna Mills took to the stage to discuss the development of her dynamic type design practice and shares some of her techniques for designing type, including the “ping-pong match between paper and computer,” AKA the “input-output dance.”
6. Chuck Studio’s Burger Drop Project
Chuck Studios specialises in food adverts and builds precisely honed machines and co-founder and global creative director Olaf van Gerwen talks us through the painstaking steps and the process of making burgers drop artfully onto a plate from initial sketching to the final take.
