Welcome to the Weekly Nugget — Most Studios Friday wrap-up, where we share nuggets of inspiration from the world of tech, branding & design.

1. Faces Behind Typefaces

The Faces Behind Typefaces, is a new web project that is specially made to look just like an editorial where you can read in-depth conversations with type design pioneers, and since the editorial also celebrates the 75th anniversary of Type Directors Club it’s intentionally close to the TDC style in terms of the usage of a two-colored pallet and rigour typography.

2. British Airways’ New Campaign

British Airways has released a new ad campaign with more than 500 minimal print, digital and outdoor ads for the airline. The campaign entitled A British Original, explores the purpose hidden beneath the seemingly straightforward question travellers are asked upon arrival: “What is the aim of your visit?”

3. SkyFi‘s High-Resolution Satellite Imagery

SkyFi has introduced High-Resolution Satellite Imagery that enables you to control a satellite’s camera on one of more than 70 in-network satellites with only a few taps using just your phone, laptop, or tablet. Users can choose any location on Earth from the apps simple interface, and SkyFi will not only deliver a high-resolution image of that location, but also allows users to purchase that image and keep it forever.

4. Zac Henderson’s Dark Matter Series.

The Dark Matter III series by Alabama-based photographer Zac Henderson is part of an ongoing abstract photography project that transforms magnets and metal particles into otherworldly, spectral forms. As the series title suggests, the works are by a scientific concept of the same name, which is a form of matter believed to be abundant in the universe.

5. The MetaMarket

The MetaMarket, is a virtual marketplace or farmers market held in a two-dimensional world with only the newest, well-branded CPG companies represented and inside users can control a digital avatar and interact with other attendees.

6. Dot Pad

Dot, a company, based in Korea has taken a huge step forward with a smart braille device. The Dot Pad device has room for 300 braille glyphs, and also integrates directly into Apple’s VoiceOver screen reading feature. It allows users to read text, icon labels and even graphs or simple images just a tap away.

Have a great weekend and see you next week! 👋

Psst! If you liked some of these things then perhaps you’re our new coworker? As one of Sweden’s fastest-growing and most profitable companies, we’re on a hiring spree.
