Welcome to the Weekly Nugget — Most Studios Friday wrap-up, where we share nuggets of inspiration from the world of tech, branding & design.

1. Iñigo Montoya — Totem

The digital art duo Zeugl are back with another other-worldly music video made entirely out of emojis. Lolita Do Peso Diogo and Gabriel Wéber have collaborated with the french band Iñigo Montoya once more to create something extraordinary.

2. The Checkout

Blasts from the past across fashion, technology, and culture made for feel-good throwbacks from every era. The Checkout is Klarna’s global, annual summary of the year through the lens of our purchases. And history is closer than you might think. Thanks to the digital age, our cultural memory is shorter than ever. Former favourites are coming back en vogue even faster than before.

3. Batch Coffee Club

Batch Coffee Club, based in the UK, is a curator of specialty coffee by subscription that offers a selection of coffee from different brands and origins. The conceptual basis that articulates the whole identity focuses precisely on the meaning of the brand’s name. ® Requena who created the identity wanted to project the diversity of origins and its large catalog of collaborators through a typography that is entirely our own.

4. Amour Liquide

Amour Liquide is a selection of bar-quality cocktails — in a pocket-size format with a beautiful packaging design. Check out their website, which also is really neat!

5. Kron

The design studio BAKKEN & BAECK created the new neat identity for Kron. Kron is a next generation savings solution that focuses on making investment opportunities more accessible to the many.

According to B&B “The graph is an integral part of the visual identity, and acts as your main source of information. It reflects how your portfolio is doing and gives an explanation of why the value of your money grew or dipped.”

6. Pinterest predicts

People use Pinterest to plan for the future. This means that they know what’s next. In fact, for the last three years, 80% of their report predictions came true. This isn’t another year-end trend report. This is a not-yet-trending report — a window into the future, from the place where people go to plan it.

Have a great weekend and see you next week! 👋

Psst! If you liked some of these things then perhaps you’re our new coworker? As one of Sweden’s fastest-growing and most profitable companies, we’re on a hiring spree.
