Welcome to the Weekly Nugget — Most Studios Friday wrap-up, where we share nuggets of inspiration from the world of tech, branding & design.

1. Experimental Jetset x Patta

Experimental Jetset and Patta present their most recent joint effort. The collection uses directional signs and city maps for aesthetic purposes and it includes well-known Patta favorites with a psychogeographic twist, including Coaches Jackets, Hooded Sweaters, Graphic T-Shirts, and Crewneck Sweaters.

2. GT Maru

Thierry Blancpain created the friendly sans-serif font GT Maru, which Grilli Type released in 2021. The design, was motivated by English characters seen on way finding signage fonts on constructions sites in Japan and the font family is paired with a collection of warm and friendly emojis.

3. Pasta Dreams

Pasta Dreams, the brand-new restaurant by celebrity chef Jamie Oliver, provides a psychedelic twist on the classic Italian dish. The brand offers a playful and nostalgic visual identity and a pasta selection for home delivery as the result of a collaboration between creative agency Otherway and food delivery company Taster.

4. The Colors of Motion

The Colors of Motion, created and developed by Charlie Clark, explores the use of color in movies using a variety of technologies, such as Bash and Backbone. Users may engage with the colors of their favorite movies and learn the CSS color codes by looking at each line, which reflects the typical color of a single frame.

5. Teenage Engineering Toy Choir

Teenage Engineering has announced its latest development: a line of eight pre-programmed wooden singing dolls, each with their own unique voice and cultural identity and vocal range. The dolls are designed to play both preset classical songs and users own original songs via MIDI.

6. Meet Your Destiny

Meet Your Destiny is a canned cocktail that is designed to be shared. The drink was created in response to the idea that it only takes a fifth of a second to establish an emotional bond. On the back of the can, there are two checkboxes that ask if the drinker is searching for a buddy or a date, and a third line for a social media handle.
