The Weekly Nugget
Welcome to the Weekly Nugget — Most Studios Friday wrap-up, where we share nuggets of inspiration from the world of tech, branding & design.
1. British Airways ads capture the feeling of fast check-ins
Uncommon has created a new set of ads for British Airways that focus on the fast journey from check-in to departure gate at London City Airport using BA’s Cityflyer service. This is the latest work from Uncommon’s partnership with the airline, after a simple campaign last autumn with mostly words.
2. DMT users turn to AI
Artificial intelligence has opened new doors for psychedelics enthusiasts to show the world the beautiful realms they inhabit when tripping. Veteran psychedelics researcher David Jay Brown has joined forces with artist Sara Phinn to document the many, multifaceted beings they and others have met on DMT.
3. Trustpilot’s new visual identity
Trustpilot has recently undergone a visual overhaul that celebrates its diverse range of user reviews. The new look, designed by independent creative company Barkas, takes a unique approach to branding by embracing the full spectrum of customer experiences.
4. Knit Grotesk is specifically made for hand knitting
Knit Grotesk’ first characters were inspired by a low-res adaptation of Futura, while translating it into a hand-knitting pattern. Through this formatting process a whole set of typographic details emerged and evolved into a typeface of its own.
5. Vibrant illustrated pieces by Laura Normand
Paris-based senior art director & digital artist Laura Normand produces harmonious curves, pop colors & glossy textures which results in vibrant illustrated pieces inspired by the Memphis movement and Bauhaus.
Have a great weekend and see you next week! 👋
