‘Sound Revival’ volume one was released in 2011 and is the second studio album by South African Dj and media personality Dj Sbu under his former label TS Records.

The album is a fusion between electronic house music and traditional African world music. Sbu produced most of the songs on the album and featured an eclectic host of South African artists including his former artist Zahara with whom he collaborated on the albums hit song ‘Lengoma’.

‘Lengoma’ is the Zulu word for song and also just happens to be the name of this drop top summer tune which written by South African songstress Zahara and produced by Dj Sbu.

The song talks about giving hope and is a pseudo gospel ballad about remaining in belief against all odds, doubters and naysayers who say that you will never amount to anything. The melody was composed almost entirely out of the African marimba and is an up-tempo beat which turned this inspirational song about maintaining positivity into an equally banging summer dance track.
