Do you have the “I buy cuter clothes for my kid than I do for myself” syndrome? Don’t worry, you’re not alone and we have the perfect answer for you in two words: Little Bipsy. This is your new one stop destination for everything cute, trendy and fabulous for you and your babe!

The shop is ran by Brittani, who is a Mama to a sweet little boy, Conor. She runs everything on her own and loves hand picking items for the shop’s collections. You can find the latest and greatest strollers, diaper bags, clothes and so much more.

She gave us a behind the scenes look at her shop and what’s important to her while running the show.

Little Bipsy’s Story:

Welcome to the story behind The Little Bipsy Collection. My name is Brittani (AKA Little Bipsy, as my late Grandfather would call me). When I was just a little tiny, I went everywhere with my mom, as if I were a little gypsy…. Then came about the nickname — Little Bipsy. My Grandpa , who I loved dearly, passed when I was 19. He remains very close in my heart as if he were still here. The name Little Bipsy has always stuck with me, so when it came time to name my shop… it was a no brainer.

I am a mom to a busy little dude, Conor (19mo) and a wife to a man that is my #1 biggest supporter. My ideas — well — they are never ending, but he does a great job of listening and is certainly my voice of reason.

When Conor was 2-months old my husband and I decided to take a leap of faith, live simply and enjoy life as a family of 3… So we packed up, left our crazy busy life as we knew it, and began to call Whistler, BC home for the next 6-months. It was AMAZING!!! We loved every second of it and still visit as often as we can! Since we made the decision to move, I had no choice but to leave behind my 12-year career in the dental field. My focus was all about Conor and being a new little family. After moving back home (Issaquah, Washington) to reality, I felt like my identity was quickly escaping me. I knew I was a mom and Conor needed me, but I almost didn’t know who I was beyond that. I felt lost.

I eventually came up with the idea to create a little IG shop called @conors_closet. I sold his unworn and gently used clothes. I love it, every second of it! I was thrilled when someone made a purchase, not because it meant I made a little money, but because I got the chance to interact with someone like me — a new mom, who loves to shop! More so, I felt honored that they trusted me and found interest in what I had to offer. I received so much joy from my silly little IG shop that it got me thinking… Why not open up an actual online shop? A real website offering all new clothes that couldn’t be found at your nearest Target or Babys R Us. My style was obviously admired (lets be clear, not my personal style but my son’s, I wear yoga pants and Victoria Secret sweatshirts pretty much daily — tell me I am not alone?!).

I began to reach out to the brands that I loved for my son, keeping quality, style and uniqueness in mind. The outcome from my idea was a hit. The brands I had shared my idea with were so supportive and trusted that my idea could soon become a reality. With all the positive feedback, I was able to launch Little Bipsy at the end of March 2016. Since then, Little Bipsy has grown in a way I never could have imagined. Starting from clothes and a few little accessories, to now some of the most sought after baby brands and items that are out there today. I work hard to offer a one-of-a-kind and unique collection. With new styles & brands — and the latest and greatest in everything baby.

How Brittani wants each and every customer to feel:

When customers visit my shop and make a purchase I want them to feel like it was the best online shopping experience they’ve have. I don’t have a warehouse or a large storage unit. In fact, Little Bipsy takes up 3-rooms and looks like a baby retail shop (my poor husband). Because I have everything on-hand, I do my best to ship out the next day and I can’t even tell you how much I love packaging every order. I want it to feel like a gift — wrapped in tissue paper with a bow and toped with a handwritten thank you card. I don’t have a staff — its just me — I spend my early mornings, my son’s nap times and my evenings working hard to make sure you are 100% satisfied with your ENTIRE Little Bipsy experience.

Her advice to other women wanting to start a business:

When I am asked to give advice for women/moms wanting to start a business, my best piece of advice it to just START. You have to be committed, enjoy the road your about to travel and expect great things when you soak your heart into it! Its a big commitment and really does take up so much time. Balance is a must…. In fact, I am still learning and certainly struggle at times. My shop is more than I could have imagined and it is only continuing to grow! Its not my experience that has gotten me here but 100% my passion.

Where Brittani sees her shop going in the future:

So, a little secret and behind the scenes info here; I am currently working hard to design Little Bipsy’s first line of shoes. And it won’t stop there, I want Little Bipsy to eventually have its own complete line of both shoes and clothing. And yes, I will continue to offer the latest and greatest in baby products & brands. I could also see myself having a little store front (we are talking way down the road), but how fun would that be! When I sit back and reflect on the story of Little Bipsy, all I can think about is how grateful I am. My heart explodes with gratitude and I can’t even tell you how much I appreciate all the support from my family, friends and especially my customer family! Without all of you, Little Bipsy would still just be a nickname.
