1. Mindr

Mindr is an organization creating epic event series that’s purely for parents and caregivers — newborns and toddlers. The Mindr event, workshop and talk series cover things like current affairs, entrepreneurship sessions and advocacy workshops to connect parents and caregivers with others while partaking in unique expert-led discussions.

2. MOPS

MOPS is a support group, often hosted by churches, that offers members mentoring, creative activities, and childcare during meetings. Moms can meet to share their hopes, fears and insights, in a format that works with their schedules, that doesn’t neglect their faith or their womanhood, their motherhood or their purpose, their heart or their mind.

3. MOMS Club

MOMS Club is a support group for home mothers. MOMS Club groups are called chapters. Chapters are assigned a specific regional area and are open to all moms living in that area. The MOMS Club believes that each local group must have the flexibility to meet the needs of the mothers in its area. Therefore, each group chooses the activities that its mothers wish to do and handles its own finances.

4. Café Mom

CafeMom meets the emotional and practical needs of every mom with an honest, gritty, funny, wise, practical and uplifting spirit that mirrors motherhood itself. Their stories satisfy a demand: to laugh, to connect, to commiserate, or to get smart advice you’ve never heard before. They lift up the voices of all moms, and make them feel confident, hopeful and understood. Like a good friend, they just make life better.

5. OMG I’m a Mom

This group is for young moms of Orange County, CA ages 18-early 30’s. They are a group of young moms, new & expecting, veteran mamas with multiple babes, single moms, and so on. This group is to build relationships not only for mothers but for little ones gaining support, friendship for our whole family, advice, parenting help, tips, and building lifelong relationships to grow and learn together with.

6. Mocha Moms, Inc.

Mocha Moms, Inc. is the premier voice for mothers of color. Through chapters and online, Mocha Moms, Inc. provides support for women of color as they journey through all phases of motherhood while advocating for them nationally. Mocha Moms, Inc. also encourages the spirit of community activism and service among its members.

7. Holistic Moms

The Holistic Moms Network is a non-profit organization whose mission is to generate national awareness, education, and support for holistic parenting and green living by providing nurturing, open-minded, and respectful local community networks that encourage families to share these ideals and learn from each other.

8. La Leche League (LLL)

LLL is available literally 24-hours a day via its Breastfeeding Helpline, but local groups provide a safe place for questions, on-hand assistance, and mom-to-mom support.

9. Babywearing International (BWI)

Babywearing International, Inc. (BWI) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to promote babywearing as a universally accepted practice, with benefits for both child and caregiver, through education and support.

10. GGMG

GGMG was founded in 1996 by a group of San Francisco moms. They are completely volunteer-run organization who works hard to support each other and build community.
