Young Mothers Meet up
#Youngmothersmeetup: First of its kind young mother’s meet up in Kerala to meet and greet at a place to share information on parenting and childcare.
Our purpose
We truly believe that this initiative will be a platform for young mothers who are learning new experiences on parenting and childcare. #Youngmothersmeetup aims at creating an opportunity to connect mothers and engaging them in diverse conversation on various topics in regards to motherhood as well as importance and development of childcare. We believe this meet up enables women to achieve their highest potential by fostering a stimulating environment where they can form relationships, share knowledge and support to one another thereby improving the quality of life.

Why it is important?
Young mothers face the challenge of meeting not only their own developmental needs but also the needs of their children. It’s always such a relief to find out from other new moms that what you are experiencing is normal or not. It’s great to toss around ideas and problems and giggle together about funny situations you have encountered with your baby. It is however, often difficult for new parents to meet others in a similar situation and even when the opportunity arises, not many know where to start looking for other new local parents. Babies and infants can mix with others their age and parents can start new friendships and support networks.
How does this meet up works?
On behalf of our Childcare Project we are introducing a weekly event called #Youngmothersmeetup which gives moms the opportunity to meet up and pursue motherhood and interests followed by training session by professional childcare trainer. Young mothers and their kids are invited to come together in a place and as they reinforce the importance of childcare and early childhood development. The key focus is to create a feeling of camaraderie at the same time expanding friendships. It is a great platform to de-stress and rejuvenate, thereby increasing the level of happiness in their lives.

#Youngmothersmeetup is organised by Women’s Business Incubation Program (WBIP) as a part of our Childcare project. WBIP is an incubation program that supports women entrepreneurs to set up their business through co-working space, access to funding, staffing support, business development and digital engagement.
