This fall Colorwave proudly welcomes 60 new fellows to our community.

A welcome from our Executive Director, John Roussel

We are honored and thrilled to continue growing our movement to broaden access to the innovation economy as we welcome our seventh fellowship cohort this Fall. This fellowship cohort represents one of our most well-rounded groups covering more than twelve different functional areas and representing 16 states and almost 30 different cities in the US and abroad.

Given the volatility in the labor market in 2023, we have continued to enhance the programmatic experience for our fellows by offering access to greater coaching and support in their respective job searches, connecting participants to key hiring networks and contacts within our industry network, and continuing our support of fellows’ career journeys well beyond the nine-week program. This deepening of our support has yielded positive outcomes for participants, with those taking advantage of our coaching support seven times more likely to transition within three to six months of their search.

The Colorwave family continues to grow, with our programming supporting more than 400 fellows in just under three years. We are elated to welcome this new group and look forward to the imprint they make on Colorwave’s community and the broader innovation economy for years to come.

More about Cohort 7

We screened applicants based on the transferability of their skills to a startup or venture-backed company environment, market demand of their functional expertise, stage in their career, clarity on their next career move, and alignment with Colorwave’s mission and values.
