Staying motivated is one of the biggest challenges everyone faces. Motivation can be hard to come by sometimes — even for experienced people who have all kinds of skills, abilities, and experiences up their sleeves! But it’s important to understand that motivation is something that you control.

Lately, I’ve been lacking motivation to do a lot of things, and I haven’t been able to get anything done. It’s gotten a little bit out of hand because I care about what I do and want to accomplish my goals but I find that I lack the energy and drive needed to make it happen consistently.

I decided to turn to a podcast which featured the story of Kunal Shah — the founder of Cred — who talked about his experience and how it inspired him to do something for his goals.

The podcast covered many aspects, but the main point of it was to invest time in yourself to learn new skills.

After listening to the podcast, I was feeling good and energized. Soon, I had the energy and began working on my project.

This experience taught me that it’s not necessary to put pressure on yourself when you’re feeling down. All you have to do now is accept the situation as it is and give yourself time to heal.

If you are someone that deals with lack of motivation, these tips will surely help you.

5 Ways to Boost Your Self-Efficacy

It’s difficult to come out of the demotivated zone, but these tips will help you do something for your goals.

1.Get Moving: If you’re burned out and feeling like your creativity is lacking, get moving!

Try a new hobby or exercise routine or listen to a podcast to help create an uplifting mood.

It may seem impossible sometimes, but there are definitely ways you can get out of these hard spots.

2.Sit with yourself: Ask yourself what’s the cause of the negative shift in your attitude is. You may have noticed a change in your mood or behavior, so don’t be afraid to analyze it.

3.Allow yourself to breathe: Allow yourself some space, but don’t run away from your feelings. It’s not always easy to find answers to our feelings in a timely manner.

4.Set realistic goals: Make sure you’re following through your goal list. Start by creating an outline of what you want to achieve. Do you want to lose weight? Maybe you want to get an A+ on your next test? Whatever it is, write it down.

5.Add Reminders: Once you’ve set your goals, ensure they’re always on your mind. Stick reminders up around your working space, keep a checklist beside you or do whatever it takes to keep your goals constantly on your mind.

I personally use a whiteboard in my room as a reminder, but everyone has different ways of accomplishing this — find whatever method works best for you and keep at it!

You can always find small ways to see progress by creating broad goals. This way, you’ll always feel like you’re making progress, even if you’re not where you want to be yet.

If you struggle to stay dedicated to your goals and tasks, these tips will help you stay committed and focused. It’s essential to find a purpose that is important to you and worth working towards. Find a plan that matches your values and personality, which will help you stay motivated and on track to your success.
