What is Courage?

Courage is the ability to do something that frightens one or takes great effort. Courage is the mental or moral strength to persevere and withstand danger, fear, or difficulty.

It is a positive trait that can be found in many famous people — including actors, politicians, activists and athletes. Courage is also seen as the backbone of leadership skills.

You might have to work hard.

Courage is also about living your life with integrity and honesty. Be honest with yourself and others about what’s really going on in your life. Share how you feel, what you think, what you want. This will give everyone an opportunity to support you if they can or let you follow your dreams.

Different Types of Courage:

There are many different types of courage. Physical, military, moral, and emotional.

Physical courage is when you do not feel fear for your body or life in a physical challenge. It is the bravery that is needed to face a threat of physical pain.

Military courage is when you put yourself in a dangerous situation in order to achieve a goal for your country.

Moral courage is the ability to stand up for what is right even if it means risking your reputation or popularity with others.

Emotional courage can be defined as the ability to overcome your fears and anxieties. You are now changing things that you have been dealing with your whole life.

Confidence Is Not The Same As Courage.

A person may feel self-assured and confident, but lack the courage to take risks or speak up in a confrontation.

Confidence is often associated with being arrogant, aggressive, or forceful

Courage:

Courage means taking risks to achieve something worthwhile

Courage is associated with being humble, honest, and respectful of others’ opinions
