The very first time I made this dish, my family absolutely loved it. I’m asked to make it several times a month, and when I do, they can’t get enough.

Please bear in mind that my son is an extremely fussy eater, and I can list on one hand the foods he’ll eat — but now I can add this beauty to his limited palate.

Times are tough, and many of us are struggling to pay our rent, bills, food, and more. So we need to learn how to make some easy recipes that don’t require a ton of ingredients, and this alfredo pasta is perfect for that.

As you’re making this dish, you do not need to cook anything beforehand. You can place the chicken and pasta in the slow cooker completely raw.

Absolutely. The slow cooker is designed to cook raw food. The time it takes to cook and the heat from the pot can kill any bacteria making it completely safe.

Can you cook raw pasta in a slow cooker?

You sure can. For this dish, we place the raw pasta in the pot for 35 minutes. After that, the pasta is tender with a little bit of a bite.
