The pandemic turned the world upside down. Thousands of innocents were affected. Millions of lives shattered. A massive amount of population became unemployed. Work for home & work from home became the new normal. Yet, the lockdown taught us some invaluable lessons, which are significant for shaping our future. They are an integral part of the development & will enhance the nature of growth.

In terms of education, shifting to virtual mediums is a journey all of us commenced together. Despite the lack of full- fledged infrastructure, connectivity issues and resource constraints, the teachers and students, brimming with utmost curiosity and enthusiasm, are adapting pretty well with the situation. In rural areas, NGOs are the connecting link. Supplementing to the syllabus, relevant documentaries, Presentations, made it a worthwhile productive activity. Many digital learning platforms beamed as rays of optimism and enlightened many across the globe. As a result, this method of imparting education is sustainable and can elevate its quality by updating with the up-coming technologies.

In my opinion, these days, humankind needed a rich experience to understand the significance of their social life. That’s exactly the lesson, which the lockdown taught all of us. The front-line workers, health-care workers are a pure reflection of humanity. It snapped me that Family is my top-most priority. In any situation I face, they will be the ones supporting and encouraging me. Though we are staying miles apart from our loved ones, yet technology helped us build connections. The pandemic surely brought us back from the “monetary” precipice and made us realize the true meaning of a Society.

The crisis was a colossal blow for cottage industries and fledging start-ups. The migrant workers, labors or poverty-stricken families faced financial instability at a maximum. According to the stats given by World Health Organization (WHO), approximately 3.3 billion people were unemployed in the pandemic. Hence, effective management of income was well learnt and received by the common people. This will supplement in spreading awareness about wisely handling finances and reviving the Indian Economy.

Our lifestyle too underwent a huge transformation. We understood that proper food, clothing and shelter are the only essentials needed to survive. Technology proved to be an integral part, for communication, education and even employment.

Summing up, the lock down made us ponder on the preparedness of future epidemics or pandemics. Also, it has enhanced the pharmaceutical industry in India, which will surely foster a thousand folds in the upcoming years. It narrated the true essence of gratitude, which the society portrayed. The pandemic made us realize that Family is the most invaluable asset, any person has. As every cloud has a silver lining, even this pandemic came along with innumerable lessons, which all of us gradually neglected with the course of time. I’m sure that the future generations will definitely benefit by all these lessons and enrich their lives beautifully.

“Though the lock down, to the world did a massive wrong.

But, today it’s the reason of us being so strong”
