Little Dream Seeds
Plant those little seeds, and they may just grow into the banyan tree you did not see.
Leave that tiny imprint behind, and someone there will reap the crop.
There is that much you could do for yourself, and so much more for the rest,
Along with you take them along, across the swamps and out of their ruined nests.
Begin with baby steps and watch out for those who need you around,
Each day is a new one, so fill it with hope and joy; make it count.
A larger purpose will emerge once those seeds burst from the soil,
All you wished for but did not expect will surface off your sweat and toil.
The Universe deprives no one, be them worthy or not,
It’s not in Her nature to discern and scorn, distinguish amongst her lot.
And that’s why the world sees its seasons, the sun, rise and set, year in and out,
Giving everything loads of love, time, a setting, and a slot.
Shun not those you think are not your attentions worth,
Each seed has a tree of hope, give it the goodness you can.
Stretch your hand out and do your bit, make your presence count.
Life is not only about yourself, but all that is around.
Be it the ant or the lizard, the millionaire or scamp,
Each is precious in an inimitable way, so fail not to be a radiant lamp.
