Love Yourself Just the Way You Are
Love the Body You Have at This Moment
A setback that is out of my control
Life is too short to be overly concerned with your outward appearance. I am still on my healthy food, and weight loss journey. I have not lost all the weight I am working towards losing because of physical and sometimes mental setbacks. Recently I had to deal with some pain in my right wrist for quite some time and it made a difference in my energy level and motivation to exercise so at one point I just stopped completely.
That was a setback that was somewhat out of my control because I had to take a few days of physical rest which included no typing. Of course, that put a damper on my level of activity, which is key to losing weight for most people, me included. I say a setback that was somewhat out of my control because yes, I could have at least gone for walks or did some light cardio, but the pain was intense enough that I couldn’t do anything at all. I had to let my whole-body rest in order for my wrist heal.
A setback that I can control
Laziness is a thing, and I can be lazy sometimes. However, being lazy is a setback that I can control but choose not too at times. So of course, I have not met my personal weight loss goals yet, but that does not cause me to look at myself in a negative light. Not at all:
I still Love myself just the way I am, and I hope you do too.
Love yourself | Curves and ALL
We may not look like we “think” we should but understand that we look exactly the way we should at this moment of our lives. This is not to say that if there are things that we want to change about ourselves we should not work towards doing so. It just means that there are periods of time when we are going to look or feel a certain way because they are part of the journey.
Love yourself | Curves and ALL | Your body DOESN’T define you
Just because you may carry a little extra weight, have too many wrinkles, feel like your skin is too dark, light, scarred, pale or any other negative thought. Does not mean that you are not beautiful, handsome, cute or “ALL THAT” because you are.
Love yourself, curves and ALL, your body DOESN’T define you. YOU DEFINE YOU
Don’t let negative thoughts define the way you see yourself. You DEFINE YOU! Look at yourself in the mirror and speak positive thoughts out loud if that is what you need to do to remind yourself that you are Beautiful just the way you are!
