An open letter to the manipulative people-pleaser.

I used to think being a people-pleaser meant I was a nice person. It was something I was proud to call myself. It felt like I was sacraficing myself for others — I was, but it wasn’t benefiting anyone. This self-sacraficing mindset ruined many of my relationships, including the relationship I have with myself.
