Saturday night and what to do
So, John and Stephanie, what did you do Saturday night? Go see a band, go to dinner, see a movie? Nah. It was Christmas arts and crafts night at my shore shack.
This is my first Christmas without the 8-foot big ass and heavily decorated tree I usually put up. I had to downsize to a small 5-foot Charlie Brown tree in my winter rental cottage since I sold my home in August.
All of my Christmas decorations are packed in a storage Pod somewhere in the swamps of Jersey until I find a new house.
I miss my Christmas Ornaments this year
I miss my ornaments. My usual Christmas tree is different, I think. It doesn’t have any traditional balls on it. We call it the eunuch tree. All of my ornaments are reflective of events and meanings in my family. My tree is sort of like the Sgt Pepper album cover with our influences and memories on the Christmas tree.
