It’s still mind-blowing to me that wounds from childhood stay with us even after years have passed.

Here are few signs that you need to heal your inner child.

1 Whenever you stand up for yourself, you feel guilty.

2 You are a people pleaser and lack confidence in yourself.

3 Somehow you feel that there is something wrong with you.

4 No matter what you do, you feel that you are not enough.

5 You are a rebel, being in conflict make you feel alive.

6 You feel a need to be a super-achiever.

7 You were raised to feel responsible for your parents and their happiness.

8 You were physically and verbally abused on a regular basis.

9 You were not given affection ie, hugs and kisses.

Be very gentle with yourself, reading this might activates some emotions, it’s totally okay if you don’t feel any.

Take a few moments, few deep breaths and be kind to yourself. Know that this was never about you, these traumas were passed from another victims of other victims who didn’t know better.

Extend forgiveness to anyone involved and most importantly to yourself for going through this.

Start healing those aspects of yourself. Start reparenting youreself in a better way and make peace with your past and your inner child.
