Never stop trusting your inner wisdom

I thought I was broken or cursed. People like me can’t be happy. It was my core belief. Right now I can see why I used to believe it. And I also see people being in the exact same state. So I decided to write this motivational article to remind you of your inner power to create your happy story.

My message to you

I don’t care who you are or what you have gone through or how different you are from other people. You can live a happy life.

We might have an idea that because of our trauma or our past, we will never be as happy as those normal healthy people.

I have felt like that for years and even now I catch myself thinking that.

Because still, people see happiness as something you have, not as how you live.

I’m here to remind you and probably myself that happiness comes in many different forms. Everyone is unique. Don’t let this societal picture of happiness and success take away yours.

We all sometimes think that we are completely fucked up. But that is not the reason to be unhappy. That might be the reason you have problems in your relationships or career. But that is true for everyone. Everyone goes through difficulties in life and does something wrong. You will never be perfect. You will never solve all of your problems. Your inner demons might never stop talking. They might change a story though. But it doesn’t matter. Happiness is not the perfect ending. It was never meant to be an end goal. Right here right now if you accept who you are and accept the idea that there’s nothing wrong with you, if you stop the fight against yourself — you are happy. It’s freedom. It’s life itself that matters. You can do whatever you want, choose any type of path and any type of sacrifice that comes with it. Do you feel this power? It’s in your hands as people say. But I believe it’s in all of you, in your every cell.

Almost no one can live up to this perfect picture. In some parts of the world, it used to be called the American dream, in others — probably different. It might seem perfect for some people. But people don’t want it anymore. It’s just a story. With the perfect job, with the perfect family in the perfect house. Or whatever it is. If you feel like it’s your life — go for it. If you don’t feel like it’s for you — screw it. People are and have been happy without meeting social standards. Having all of that seems safe, but no one is safe here. Who knows what is going to happen? At least you have a chance to fill every moment with life. Laugh at jokes that seem funny to you. Do something you would approve of. Don’t waste your time searching for heroes somewhere out there. At least try to be that hero or that character. Find out what it’s like to feel adrenaline running through your veins. What does it feel like to stand up for what you believe in? What does it feel like to just love?

Believe that you are the way you should be. Just stop fighting yourself. Stop proving something to people. Stop comparing. Stop blaming. Start allowing. Start appreciating. Start living to the fullest.

Own who you’re right now. Even if you’ve made many mistakes and reached rock bottom. What matters is your next step. Own your story. Own your truth. It is the closest thing to your happiness. No matter who you are or where you are, you have immense value. You have a unique path. And so you have a unique story about happiness. So what’s it going to be?
