From the various Show-n-Shines lining the streets to the MAG auction with hundreds of consigned cars t0 the numerous entertainment opportunities sprinkled throughout the week to the nightly cruises to the drifting competition and everything else, there was truly something for everyone during the 2017 Hot August Nights.

Whether you were there just for the entertainment acts that included the likes of Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, Rick Springfield, Cirque Le Noir and Jerry Lee Lewis or the various hula hoop activities, there is no question that the cars were the main attraction.

And there were cars everywhere.

You could watch them cruise down the streets strutting their stuff; you could peruse them as they waited for their turn on the auction block; you could walk among them at the multiple Show-n-Shines; you could stare in awe as they slid sideways through tight curves at the Reno/Sparks Livestock Events Center and you could gawk at the drag races and burnouts.

It seemed like there was a car in every nook and cranny in Reno and Sparks. If there was a space big enough to fit a car there was usually a car there.

For car enthusiasts from around the globe, Hot August Nights was the place to be.

And there were all kinds of vehicles.

If you love hot rods, the event had them. If you love trucks, they were there. If you love sports cars, you guessed it … they were also well represented. If you love classics, they were everywhere.

It was a cornucopia of cars of all makes, all models, all colors and all sizes.

There was no way anyone could drive away from the 2017 Hot August Nights feeling unfulfilled. If they do, that’s on them … because there was definitely something there for everyone.

We can’t wait to go back.
