The all-new hypercar by Hennessey is out impressing crowds at Cars & Coffee at the Concours.

Slated at the fastest road car on planet earth, the Venom F5 was design by Hennessey and team to have all new looks, chassis, and a carbon fiber body with the focus of having the lowest possible drag, achieved through aerodynamics. In the pursuit of speed, the entire car was designed to be a beast, thirsty for performance, with purpose and drama throughout. This is the fastest looking car we’ve ever seen sitting still!

“Our customers love speed, so we’re fired-up to push the boundaries of what’s possible to attempt the world’s fastest production car record, but the Venom F5 is about more than just speed and power. This car will handle superbly, quality is exceptional, there are more than 3,000 bespoke parts, materials are exquisite, everything is a fitting tribute to 30 years of the Hennessey brand.”

An impressive 1,817-horsepower reaches the rear wheels of this 2,998 lbs car, thanks to a rear-mid-mounted 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged engine. With the weight coming in just under 3k pounds, the power-to-weight ratio is 1,298-horsepower per ton, or 0.61 hp per pound — the highest of any road legal car.

Seeing the car in person at the Amelia Island Cars & Coffee is a breath of fresh air (literally) after months of cancelled events and lockdowns. The annual The Amelia’s Cars & Coffee at the Concours is an interesting event that attracts a broader class of car that the Concours d’Elegance, making the whole weekend feel extremely inclusive to all walks of car people.
