The 1991 Ferrari F40

The Ferrari F40 was first introduced in 1987, the 40th anniversary of the first Ferrari. It was also the last Ferrari introduced and commissioned by Enzo Ferrari. It quickly became one of the most admired supercars in the world.

The F40 succeeded the Ferrari 288 GTO and was intended to rival the Porsche 959 in FIA Group B. With the ability to go from 0 to 60 in under 4 seconds, it was the first street-legal production to exceed 200 miles per hour.

One of the F40’s most predominant features — its tall rear wing — makes it hard to miss. The supercar only came in Rosso Corsa with red interior. It boasted a twin turbo-charged 2.9 liter V-8 producing 478 horsepower and 425 pounds per foot of torque.
