Hi there, after thousands of your visits here, I decided to review my list (almost 18 months old!).

We are Movade, and we focus on designing beautiful and useful Dashboards. Grab our selection of best fintech websites in 2018.

2020 update

#1 Revolut — clean and minimalistic design (bit bolder in 2020)

2020 Revolut
2018 Revolut

Their website is quite simple, nothing fancy there. Yet it draws attention. (I wonder if it’s because we are their fanboys at Movade and no lunch escapade happens without them?). They treat white space very literally.

#2 Acorns — 50 shades of green (not so many shades in 2020)

2020 Acorns
2018 Acorns

My personal favorite here. Everything is in place, fonts, white space, illustrations, colors. Definitely my kind of design. Not so great on other sites, but main page does the job (just look at these leafy accents!).

#3 Robinhood — shut up and steal my money (someone did all-in into isometric illustrations — something is not working in 2020)

2020 Robinhood
2018 Robinhood

Clear and obvious tagline, I know what the service does. Temptingly disenchants a whole investment spectrum reserved for brokers and advanced players only. (Judgment may be blurred because of my sympathy to this disruptive service, vide Revolut).

#4 Wealthy — illustrations, illustrations

2020 Wealthy
2018 Wealthy

The first time I saw this page was so refreshing. After dozens of minimalistic and app-oriented websites, finally we have something very well composed with vivid colors. Would love to know how it works business-wise.

BONUS

#5 N26 — pretty bold move…for a bank

2020 N26
2018 N26

#6 Zero — abundant in a service description (nothing really changed in 2020)

2018 Zero

#7 Wealthfront — pretty but cluttered

Wealthfront

No shame in a bit of inspiration

Don’t underestimate the power of inspiration phase in your design process. Here at Movade it’s our obligatory step, we can’t imagine a successful proces without it. Diagnose others’ weaknesses, find their strengths and make your own awesome design. Simple?
