In twenty years,
who will care
if I am hyaluronic
half-bionic
and is it not ironic
how we bow to the intelligence of a machine?

I wonder -
Can a bot become neurotic
or psychotic?
I think not.

It’s undeniably existential
like the nub of a writer’s number two pencil
that we have nothing left to fear
when the end of conversion is near
and the clash of metal versus flesh subsides
after IQ + EQ + DQ = AI.

grace notes: glossary: intelligence quotient, emotional quotient, digital- intelligence quotient, artificial intelligence.
