I Am A Miracle

With all that I have survived through, With all the strength still inside.

I always go back to those Long Island streets,
to where the first of my monsters I would meet,
and the scars that they would leave behind,
damage to reside in my mind.
I try to push myself forward in memory,
but oh, did I have so many enemies,
so many scars outside and in.
No wonder there were times, where I was…
