Move Me Poetry

Where the pendulum lies

Beneath the ocean

A Neptune lies the truth

She elegantly glides

Her beauty half seen

Yet washed over her

In a pendulum’s lie

Beneath a Neptune

Of crashing waves

She seeks to survive in

A time where the

Neptune and pendulum

Lies and truths are

Unfolding~exposing

All Neptunes power

It’s raging waves

Thee calmness fulfilled

Where the pendulum lies

And the untelling of truths

Neptune of awry waters

Like on the rapids

Of crashing waves

She fiercely fights

For her own survival

Ignoring her undesirable

Beliefs, to let go

Drifting, yet ultimately

Surviving

Neptune

This was last weeks poetry prompt, for our Twitter Move Me Poetry Battle.

Some amazing writers and poems, I am lucky to be part of the best writing community!!!

I had to Google search other meanings of Neptune! I knew it was to do with astronomy but learned that it is also the God of the sea~which I had no idea about!

Where the pendulum lies

The title just came to me — I saw the word Pendulum somewhere online and tried it out. Works great!

This poem is about survival, about exposing untold truths and fighting beneath the ocean, to survive.

Her time to tell her story and not allowing herself to drowned in a sea of thoughts!
