Repent

why should I

I repent,
not for my sins,
but the sins of others
who thought
they could
oppress
the divinity of
humanity.

I repent,
unto myself
of the thoughtless
deeds,
and words,
infectious and
invasive like a virus,
that I beheld upon others.
