The weight harbours on my shoulders,
sets sail on my tiredness and I am
incapable of throwing down the anchor.

I am not afraid of sailing,
but I am scared of what happens when this weight sinks the ship into the sea,
submerging me into the belly of the body of water.

How the pressure will squeeze out the strength I have left,
mould me into chow and leave me a vessel in an endless sea.
What will become of me then?

If sound cannot travel in water,
how will my screams for help be heard?
What separates my tears from this flood?

Thank you for stopping by!
