We’ve moved our blog to Medium! From now on, we’ll be posting MOVE-related updates and news here.

We’ve migrated all posts from our old Tumblr blog here — you’ll still be able to view the old blog, but all new content will be posted to Medium.

The MOVE Project launched back in October 2018 as a collaboration between Code for Canada and City of Toronto Transportation Services. Our goal has always been simple but audacious:

Build tools for the future of mobility and road safety in Toronto.

You’ve followed us as we work with transportation engineers at the City to understand this complex, ever-changing goal. You’ve seen how we gather feedback from users to shape that understanding into a great product. You’ve shared in our releases, our triumphs, our setbacks, our challenges.

That doesn’t change with this move — we’ve always had a commitment to work in the open, and to be part of a larger conversation about how technology can better serve society (and not the other way around!) By moving MOVE to Medium, we join Code for Canada and many other civic tech organizations on a platform designed for thoughtful discussion and open dialogue.

Thanks for following us this far, and keep posted for some exciting updates in the near future!
