Moveco joins leading automakers to partner with MOBI (Mobility Open Blockchain Initiative)
We are proud to announce that Moveco would join MOBI, the Mobility Open Blockchain Initiative amongst motor industry giants, Bosch, Groupe Renault, BMW, Ford, General Motors, ZF and other mobility and Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) companies to form a mobility focus board cultivating DLT standards, accelerating adoption of blockchain and mobility related technologies.

DLT and blockchain technology provides new implications for road safety and automobiles affordability by supporting connected cars and autonomous vehicles with mobility data. Advancing the development of car-sharing applications and creating a peer-to-peer ecosystem for MOBI’s partners.
Moveco is excited to partner with MOBI and other automotive industry, government, startups and non-profit partners to foster an environment where driving data and other in-car collected data can be securely recorded .

In return, Moveco’s users can earn MOV tokens that can be used on our redemption platform and other partnered loyalty programs by rewarding users with MOV Tokens that could offset the cost of car ownership. In Phase 1 of Moveco’s beta, MOV Tokens can be used to redeem discounts on gas from eg. Shell and Esso and also on other food and beverages outlets such as Starbucks.
