The Daily Sweat is our brand new feature, available to anyone at anytime who’s looking for a high-intensity 20 minute workout. All classes are unlocked and new everyday.

We are loving HIIT classes (high intensity interval training), and most of our Daily Sweat choices are such! Why you ask?

We broke down the top 5 reasons to why it’s great, thanks to Naomi Rotstein, one of our favorite HIIT instructors and creator of 1FitFoodie (full post HERE).

  1. Heart Health: During HIIT training, you will be pushing your body into an anaerobic zone (work that is between 30–60 seconds with max effort) which gets the heart pounding and working its hardest. The heart becomes stronger by using HIIT interval training because this type of training keeps blood flowing effectively throughout your whole body.
  2. No equipment needed: The main goal of HIIT workouts is to get your body moving at a maximum energy for a short period of time, and luckily there’s no set-up or fancy equipment.
  3. Quick and Dirty: the classes can fit into anyone’s busy schedule as they are under 30 minutes.
  4. Burn fat and torch calories all day: Combining high intensity with interval training results in EPOC, (Exercise post oxygen consumption) which speeds your metabolic rate and translates into a metabolism boost for up to 48 hours after a complete HIIT routine.
  5. Get Strength and Cardio in ONE workout: Anyone who has performed HIIT workouts before know how challenging they can be not only for muscular endurance but for strength as well!
