Looking to start your day in a fresh, healthy way? We caught up with Danni Pomplun, the leader of our upcoming March 10 Day Meditation Challenge #10DaysToZen, to chat morning routines and glowing green smoothies.

Up by 5:00 am to meditate and move, and out the door by 8:00am to teach, Danni’s morning smoothie is a staple in his day. According to him, if he misses it in the morning, his hanger starts getting the best of him. But all jokes aside, Danni may be onto something. Studies show that incorporating more whole foods like fresh fruits and veggies into your diet can lower the risk of all sorts of illnesses. It may be worth trading in your morning latte to get in a healthy serving of fruits and veggies after all!

DANNI’S GREEN SMOOTHIE INGREDIENTS:

1/2 avocado

1 Banana

1/2 cup of kale

1/4 cup frozen mango

3/4 cup Coconut water

1/4 cup green mix

1 scoop vanilla protein

1 scoop collagen powder

Put it all together in the blender and enjoy!
