Several freelancers were given access to the HP Workstations, producing new projects and assessing their experience. We sat down with each artist afterwards, diving into their inspirations, life as freelancers, and their experience creating with HP.
is an animator, illustrator and director represented by Nexus Studios. Based on the south coast of England, Laurie used the workstation to start building an interactive hologram to be placed in a large public hallway.
Iain is a freelance Unity game developer and Bafta award-winning game designer with over 15 years of experience. Ian began work on his own post-apocalyptic, cyberpunk-themed shooter for PC.
Arthur is a filmmaker and the founder of Ecstasy of Gold, an award-winning film and animation studio. Based in London but operating worldwide thanks to Movidiam’s platform, Ecstasy of Gold collaborate on everything from branded content to commercials and film. Iain created a spaceship 3D model using Maya and creating an illustration around it, adding post work in after effects.
