Marvel once again has given us one of the greatest movies of all time! Marvel films have morally excellent stories with outstanding mixes of action, drama, and humor all built within. Marvel has had a lot of directors over the years. Some of which have been the best story tellers of all time, and others who have just been acceptable, but still able to create great films!

Taika Waititi has become one of the top directors that Marvel has hired so far. Thor has been brought to the big screen as if we have never met him before, and I’ve fallen in love with the character all over again. Taika’s character development of Thor had a complete make over from being this mighty, cheesy, and boring character to a more humanized, humor loving, and tough hero. This is how Thor should have been during the four films he had appeared in. “Thor” we see a strong, superior, and arrogant god figure who had to be broken down, and we see the growth he goes through to become more humbled. After that, Thor truly hasn’t changed from “The Avengers” to “Thor: The Dark World” and last time we saw him in “Avengers: Age of Ultron”.

Thor: Ragnarok

Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2” was amazing, and “Spiderman: Homecoming” was epic, but now “Thor: Ragnarok” has definitely topped both of these films, and pretty much almost all other Marvel films!

The story was just exquisite, put together excellently, and it wasn’t all over the place. One sequence after another, all connected, leading to the epic moment and ending of the film leaving the audience entertained and questioning the extra ending.

The cast was absolutely fantastic. Mark Ruffalo brings that cheesy humor and explains where his character has been since “Avengers: Age of Ultron”. Cate Blanchett was extraordinary as she portrayed Hela the goddess of death. The rest of the cast was absolutely wonderful with Jeff Goldblum, Idris Elba, Tessa Thompson, Karl Urban and especially our Loki. Tom Huddleston’s Loki had such a great character growth. Loki is still an evil villain with a good heart and we see that in “Thor: Ragnarok”.

Marvel truly knows how to entertain its audience. They have found the right ingredients to make the perfect action-packed, comedy, drama, superhero film, and it didn’t just happen overnight. Marvel films were a bit more of a literary, action-packed story with a mix of drama, but once they add humor, it’s like they have gotten ten times more awesome.

“Thor: Ragnarok” is definitely one of my top favorite Marvel films, and I finally now have a favorite Thor film. Thor has always been one of my favorite heroes, and to finally see him in a great stand-alone film is just what we fans needed. Overall, this film has become my favorite movie of this year, and I highly recommend that you go and see this film on the big screen!

I rate this movie: Fucking Epic!
