LOS ANGELES (Herald de Paris) — So the multi-hyphenate artist and filmmaker Chris Rock will return as host of the 88th Academy Awards telecast for the second time. The broadcast airs live on Oscar Sunday, February 28, 2016, on the ABC. The Academy released the new posters for 2016 and feature black white with gold keys. Mr. Rock said that he was, “Glad to be hosting the Oscars,” and that, “It’s great to be back.” Academy President Cheryl Boone Isaacs said that, “He is certain to bring his amazing array of talents to this year’s show.” Academy CEO Dawn Hudson added, “Chris may be best known as a stand-up comic, but we think of him as a creative innovator in many other ways. He is unafraid in his artistry. We couldn’t be happier to welcome him back to the Oscars.” Paul Lee, President ABC Entertainment Group said, “Chris Rock is a comedic powerhouse who will bring tremendous energy to the event, and we’re honored to have him.” Here are all the new posters for the 88th Academy Awards.
