Top 10 Girls from S21 that I want in Paradise(no spoilers)
Let me open this by disclosing that I do not follow reality Steve or any major spoiler sites like Vevmo. On Reddit, I avoid all the spoilers I can in order to have a more enjoyable experience watching the show organically, and to write better unbiased material for readers. The only spoiler I do know is that Rachel is the Bachelorette.
Now let me also disclose something: I love Bachelor in Paradise — it’s my favorite iteration of the franchise and the expansion we get of individual characters and their personalities is just nice. Bachelor in Paradise is the Bachelor on acid. The magnifying glass is intensified and single days seem like weeks. One show changes your complete opinion of a single person like you would never have thought. I never expected to like Evan Bass if Chad wasn’t around, but I was shocked that by the final episode of Paradise, I really became attached to him. Canadian Daniel went from annoying to fun, Lace was the perfect amount of crazy, and Nick Viall became like-able(to some) enough to be the Bachelor. You get extra story lines, like Ashley I crying all over the place, Josh/Amanda drama, and of course Wells being hot.
Here are the girls I would love to see from Nick’s season:
10. Liz — You may be thinking from seeing just this first name alone that I am crazy. Well… I am a little bit. Just like Lace, I feel Liz is a good addition from the crazy pool, but she’s also very beautiful. On top of that, there is so much more time for her to be able to plug Jade & Tanner’s wedding on BIP than she ever did on Nick’s season of the Bachelor. We also know she’s semi-desperate for that Instagram money, so she would be a perfect candidate for Paradise. Besides, Izzy was on Paradise last season and she never even got a rose on the first night.
9. Kristina — Kristina. Kristina. Kristina. Until week 6 when she got a 1 on 1 date, I did not know that Kristina was on this season. Then suddenly she came in with this incredible origin story, and took shots at Corinne during the 3 on 1 group date this week. When Nick sent her home, she spoke her mind to him, and became much more than the Russian girl. I’m unsure of her ability to do well in a big group setting, but there is definitely an allure to her look that will attract male suitors.
8. Christen — I’d like to give a shoutout to the person who created the Tumlbr https://onlychristengifs.tumblr.com/ Just watching Christen react could fill at least one episode alone. Her bright yellow dress the first night of this season was also a bit appalling, but fit her and her reactions so well. She is perfect for comedy which is needed for Paradise. We also know she watches the show, so it would be a dream come true for her to get to be on it.
7. Danielle M. — Despite her sad backstory, Danielle is one of the more cheerful and sweet girls on the show. When watching how she acted on group dates, she seemed incredibly chill and fun to be around. Her body chemistry is strong and Nick had a lot of fun during the dates. Her conversations fell flat, but that was only with one guy, on Bachelor in Paradise she could have multiple suitors. I just want to see Danielle M get one more chance at love on this franchise.
6. Jaimi — On my preseason Bachelor fantasy draft, Jaimi was pre-ranked as the lowest person on my entire draft board. I thought she would an instant first night exit. So when Jaimi made it all the way to week 6(technically week 5), I was just confused and flustered after every rose ceremony. Plainly, Jaimi is kind of a weird girl, but for the Bachelor franchise, she is the good type of weird that we need. She is intelligent, funny, kind, and unique; Jaimi’s bi-sexuality is also a possible twist to the Paradise world. It would be so awesome to watch her hook up with a girl, but again, it’s only a dream.
5. Astrid — There was about 2 memorable moments of Astrid on the Bachelor this season, and they were both on the same group date early on. The big one was ABC’s rude close up on Astrid’s cleavage jiggle on the track and field date. It might have been a thing other girls were noticing, but did ABC really have to do a slow-mo close up? I am not gonna lie as a straight male and say that I did not enjoy the first/second time watching, but then as a sensible objective viewer I realized it was a bit messed up. The other bad memorable moment was that she won the five minutes of alone time from Nick after accidentally winning due to Rachel dropping the ring on the Track and Field date. She then had to get in an above group hot tub in the hot sun in the middle of the day. You screwed this girl over ABC, now help her get a man in Paradise.
4. Raven — My big fear with Raven is that Nick likes her and I that I like her more than any of the other guys in the Bachelor universe do. She seems like such a sweet normal girl, and some people may not like the possible assault on her cheating boyfriend, but I also get mad when people cheat on me. It’s normal to be angry, and she saw it full frontal plain sight. What I like about Raven is that she often just says what is on her mind, she is very cute, and on all the group dates she just has a good time and stands out for not wanting attention too much. She has been incredibly efficient with her time on this season. I really hope she wins and that she doesn’t end up on Paradise.
3. Danielle L. — I believe that DLo was one of the 3 most breathtaking girls on this season of the Bachelor. Her ethnicity, her hair, her style, and her smile were all 10/10’s. A decent amount of girls in the house did not like the way she worked with Nick, which I think is a fair criticism, but that type of grouping matters way less in Paradise. Danielle could be the Caila or Amanda of this season, the girl every guy is quietly waiting on to show up in order to woo. She is also a great dancer, and I would love to watch her be serenaded for a 3rd time.
2. Corinne — Platinum Vagine.
- Alexis — It was always going to be Alexis. This shark girl stole America’s heart from the first night she appeared on screen. The best part of her opening night was that on top of being in a shark suit and thinking she was a dolphin, was that she also get very drunk. One of my favorite quotes was girls speculating about whether she had a great body or bad body under the shark costume. Her body is awesome by the way. Her sound-bytes were the best portion at the end of every episode, so when she got eliminated it felt bad to lose her. I would have been okay if they stockpiled her early sound-bytes to use for these latter episodes.
Honorable Mentions: Taylor, Rachel, Jasmine, Vanessa — I did not like Taylor on this season of the Bachelor, but in a kinder environment maybe she could get redemption. Jasmine and Vanessa often acted like they were above the other girls and above reality television, I just do not think they would be fun in Paradise. Rachel is the Bachelorette, so I really hope she isn’t there.
