Business
1) Visiting Huayi Brothers Korea with Ontology Marketing Director
MovieBloc, together with our ecosystem partner Ontology, visited Huayi Brothers Korea in Seoul and explored future cooperation opportunities in content production.
2) Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFF)
On July 2nd, MovieBloc team was invited to a Forum in Bucheon, which was co-hosted by BIFF and 8 movie producers. We were pleased to share our journey in movie, content and blockchain industry with attendees at the event.
3) Tribe Accelerator Global Demo Tour
MovieBloc was invited to Tribe Accelerator Globe Demo Tour, sponsored by Singaporean Government. Korean Projects participated in the tribe tour this time are TADA and Temco. Along with MovieBloc’s will to work around the world and network with people from different worlds. As a project committed to the vitalizing content industry, we were happy to attend one of the major film industry events in the world and present our business model.
Community
1) Gate.io AMA Event
As announced earlier on our social media channels, there was a Gate.io AMA (Ask Me Anything) airdrop event for MovieBloc Korea community on 11th July. For the Korean Q&A script, you can check at Gate.io Korea’s website here.
2) Global Quiz Event
MovieBloc started a Quiz competition in the Global telegram community which is expected to run from the 8th of July to the 19th of July, 2019. The team will give away 2 ETH (around $600 USD) to the Community Members at the end of the event. The questions will be asked at random times in order to accommodate all of our members from different time zones. For details, please check here.
Announcement
1) Beta Service Launching
MovieBloc Beta Service will be launched in Q3, 2019. MovieBloc team is focusing on developing the Beta service. Beta version will contain 30% of the official version of the service as it is developed in a short period of time. However, the core features of MovieBloc service such as watching movies and writing comments will be built in the beta service.
Development
1) MovieBloc Service Preview 1
MovieBloc Service Preview 1 is now available! Preview 1 includes the overview of Beta Service. Preview 2 will cover wallet function, and Preview 3 will talk about ‘Individual theater” in MovieBloc Service.
