- The 22nd Kaywon Film Festival (2nd April ~ 11th April 2021)
KayWon High School of Arts hosted their annual film festival on MovieBloc platform for two consecutive years. This year, we were able to exhibit 13 films for 10 days. Click here to visit the film festival website. - NFT cooperation with KStarLive (20th April 2021)
MovieBloc will jointly advance into the NFT (Non-Fungible Token) business with our partner KStarLive. Through this collaboration, the two will use film festivals and various IPs to produce and distribute NFT with high-quality artworks. Click here to see the whole announcement post.

MovieBloc Service Updates
In April, the team did the following updates on MovieBloc.
- Added movies rating system and Sign-up for younger users
To bring in users with a wider range of ages, we added a) movie rating systems, and b) sign up with parental consent for Korean children under 14. - UI Update on Film Festival Page: Introductory paragraph and Social Media Outlinks
The Film Festival hosts can now add an introductory paragraph and social media icons to their festival webpage and provide more information and potentially acquire more followers on their social media accounts. The newly updated UI was applied on the 22nd KWFF. - New Admin Function: Home Section Setting.
We added a new feature on the admin console: Home Section Setting. This feature will allow us to push curated content, including seasonal films, newly listed films, etc. - Upgraded Admin Function: KYC verification and Content Publish
We have upgraded our admin KYC review and content review system to reduce the waiting time, caused by the increasing number of requests. - Solved delay in WMBL <> MBL Swap
- Solved delay in MovieBloc webpage home section loading and caching issue
- Fixed occasional error occurring during Movie Upload
