Events and Announcements
- Korean Film Festival 2021 (8.19~8.28)
In celebration of the UAE-Korea Cultural Dialogue, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea and the Korean Cultural Center have organized a virtual Korean Film Festival 2021. Six feature-length films and 18 animated short films were screened at the festival. The films were available for streaming only within UAE. - $100 MBL a day airdrop event
For 100 days, MovieBloc is selecting 100 winners to airdrop 100 USD worth of MBL every day! Users only have to go to our website (moviebloc.com) and sign in with their account to participate. - 1 Dollar Screening with CentralPark (8.10~8.17)
In collaboration with Korean film distribution company, Central Park, MovieBloc hosted a special short film screening event. We appreciate everyone who participated in the event.

MovieBloc Service Updates
In August, the team did the following updates on MovieBloc.
- Generate API for “sign-in reward event”
- Disclose the thumbnails of age restricted films
- Upgraded UI of the event pop-up banner
- Updated the service generic font (English and Korean)
- Upgraded sitemap on Google & Naver for SEO
- Debugged an error occurring due to language set error
- Added a crypto exchange banner on the wallet page
