- Partnership with Radiator IP Sales
Radiator IP Sales is second Europe-based short film distribution company joining MovieBloc service. We have been releasing 60 short films of our new partner from May on MovieBloc. (Click for details) - Attending JeonJu Conference by Jeonju Int’l Film Festival
Jeonju International Film Festival (JIFF) has organized ‘Jeonju Conference’ to discuss OTT industry trends in 2021 and introduce various alternative OTTs around the world. Chris Kang, CEO of MovieBloc, was invited to introduce the blockchain-based film platform MovieBloc. Asiana International Short Film Festival (AISFF) is the first and largest international competitive short film festival in Korea. MovieBloc and AISFF will jointly organize the 19th AISFF in 2021 with the new name and make various collaborations with the MovieBloc platform. (Click to see Disclosure)

In May, the team did the following updates on MovieBloc.
- FAQ Section Added
We added frequently asked questions from our users on our FAQ lists. - Filtering Payment Option
When clicking the “Watch” button, the page now only shows available payment options based on the user’s location. - Private Film Festival Judging Function Launched
Upon a film festival’s request, we have developed a new function where a selected film festival judges can review and judge submitted films. - Link preview Open Graph (OG Tag) Updated
Link preview function, previously only available in Korean when a user clicks the “Share” button, now supports English and Chinese language. The OG tag will be applied when you simply copy and paste the url. - Content Review Error Solved
- Adding Korean, English, and Chinese Title and Synopsis to All Films (WIP)
- Solved an Error Exposing Same Film Multiple Times on Home Section
- Solved an Error Related to the “Upload” Button on Film Upload Page

We have renewed our Instagram page (Korean) that delivers content and service-related news. Stay tuned for our super rookie Hannah and Maisie’s great work to be uploaded on our SNS channel :)
