Events and Announcements
GISFF x MovieBloc Online Screening (~Nov. 16th)
The 19th GwangHwaMun International Short Film Festival 2021 (GISFF 2021), recently acquired by MovieBloc, had an online screening until November 16th after its offline event. The audiences voted for the “MovieBloc Audience Award” and also received a coffee e-voucher. We appreciate everyone’s participation.
Cheonan International Extreme Short Film Festival
Cheonan International Extreme Short Film Festival was the first to create & start the Cheonan Film Association. At the online film festival on MovieBloc, the festival showcased 20 extreme short films in four different sections.
Seodaemun-gu Eco Film Festival
Seodaemun-gu Eco Film Festival is a collaboration between Seodaemun-gu and Korea Green Foundation. On MovieBloc the film festival showed two environmental feature films.
MovieBloc X Film Dabin Screening Event
With our partnered film distributor Film Dabin, MovieBloc had an online screening event to show 25 short films for 7 days.
$100 MBL a day airdrop event (Aug.17th~Nov.24th)
The event has finished on November 24th. We will come back with more fun and easy-to-participate events, so please stay tuned!

MovieBloc Service Updates
In November, the dev team did the following updates on MovieBloc.
- UI Update on Home Page: updated our UI on top of our home page with new home swipe banners and an announcement section.
- Updated service admin page, in order to control the banner and announcement inventory
- Security Update: Upgraded IP Defense code
